So no idea really on either count.

On a seperate note, I wanted to listen to Mia's "Breathe me" so I youtubed it, and SFU finale came up again...I noticed the part with Nate jogging behind the car and getting left behind all over Corey Nelson https://www.blogger.com/profile/13662020389933390355noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6555488.post-58074579000244832272008-11-25T13:35:00.000-05:002008-11-25T13:35:00.000-05:00I don't know if the blonde hair indicates an attac...I don't know if the blonde hair indicates an attachment to the Mena Suvari character. A central piece of the last season was Claire growing beyond the sort of pretension and snarkiness that those relationships entailed. I'd argue it was more a way to show the process of aging, Claire's brilliant red hair was dulled to a faded dirty blonde. Maybe she had gone grey and dyed it blonde to try to Patrickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09483689490186954593noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6555488.post-16378284634267155182008-11-25T01:04:00.000-05:002008-11-25T01:04:00.000-05:00Excellent write-up!I enjoyed reading your detailed...Excellent write-up!

I enjoyed reading your detailed commentary.

I agree with most of what you've said. I think that, in fact, Claire's decision to be with Ted WAS a sign of maturity: Looking at a person for his humanity rather than his political views or how he compares to some abstract ideal she held.

Anyway, two points.

First, one of Keith's adopted sons Corey Nelson https://www.blogger.com/profile/13662020389933390355noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6555488.post-517741283564344672008-01-16T23:27:00.000-05:002008-01-16T23:27:00.000-05:00The way I see it, Claire evolved beyond the need t...The way I see it, Claire evolved beyond the need to be so divisive, and recognized that Ted was someone who made her feel better and stronger, unlike her other boyfriends throughout the series. I'd agree it felt like a bit of a compromise, but that moment when he shows up in the final montage is absoultely incredible.Patrickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09483689490186954593noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6555488.post-9417584006717481942008-01-14T08:23:00.000-05:002008-01-14T08:23:00.000-05:00I'm definitely with you that going into the episod...I'm definitely with you that going into the episode, I didn't think there was any way I could be satisfied with the ending but the final sequence gave me the closure I needed, despite how heartwrenching it was to watch everyone die. I too would've liked to see what happened to more of the characters, and I really wish we saw more of Maya and Willa beyond their infancy. But he did it wonderfully well (aside from some of the cheesey make up and alienating futuristic settings).

The whole hour was pretty great, I thought. A good solid hour made great by the epilogue. If the series had ended with the family toasting Nate that crossovermanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10252850174791385656noreply@blogger.com
